Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

MusicBin (“the app”, “we”) is a local music player for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. The short version: we do not run servers, we do not collect or store your personal information, and your music stays on your device.

1. Information we collect

None. MusicBin has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, listening history or device identifiers.

2. Your audio files

3. Permissions

4. Widgets, Live Activities and Siri

Home Screen widgets and the Lock Screen Live Activity read playback state from the app's local App Group. Siri and Shortcuts requests are handled by Apple on your device and by the app locally. None of this data is sent to us.

5. Third parties

The app contains no third-party SDKs. Apple's services (iCloud Drive, Siri, App Store) are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Children

MusicBin does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Deleting your data

All data lives on your device. Use “Clear All Data” in Settings, or delete the app, to remove it completely.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
